The Winter Solstice Begins Today

Today as I look out onto my backyard, it is defintely Winter. It’s hard to believe that I sat out on this deck just a few short months ago.
And today, December 21st marks the longest day of the year — the winter solstice. It’s the beginning of the official winter season for those of us in North America.
I like to think of this time of year as an opportunity to rejuvenate and make preparations for the coming Spring.
It can also be a time for your personal rebirth. So get out and enjoy the beautiful winter weather, play in the snow and just enjoy the joyous time of the year.
